The strange, silly, and unpredictable stories that flow from players' mouths during a game of Tall Tales are as fresh to the storyteller as to the listener. Although each player makes up his or her own story on the spot, the contents of the Story Bag (50 miniatures of familiar objects), must be brought into the tale. A cow, the moon, an automobile, a pair of boots, a tiny island - whatever comes out of the bag must go into the story, resulting in frequent plot twists. The Basic Game requires a player to draw 8 consecutive pieces, spinning the tale as they go. One fun variation uses Story Place Cards, each of which displays a rich, colorful environment for the story to take place in. Another has each player contribute one game piece at a time, the story growing by bits and pieces as it moves through the group. There are 5 ways to play in all, each with its own unique brand of fun fueled by nonstop creativity. Tall Tales is for any number of players, and comes with a Story Bag, 50 Story Pieces, 24 Story Place Cards, and instructions.
