Q is a genius monkey whose escapades children find highly relatable and instructive. After finding a comfortable reclining position, the child rests Q-Time Buddy (which is weighted for extra calming comfort) on his or her belly and begins mentally counting 1, 2, 3 while breathing in, and 3, 2, 1 while breathing out. The child's focus remains on Q as he rises and falls with the belly's movement guided by the breath. This simple activity can have a dramatic effect.
