With this superb bot-customizing, maze-and-obstacle-course-making kit at their disposal, children become veritable masterminds of creativity. The two included bots are self-contained mechanical critters called BristleBots that, when switched on, move forward on toothbrush-like bristles powered by a vibrating motor. Innovation skills bloom as kids mingle some or all of the 38 precision-engineered KEVA planks with dozens of other included components to design and invent ever-changing environments for the bots to roam. And roam they do, passing through archways, tunnels, and gates while careening and caroming off bumper balls, tumble blocks, KEVA planks, and connectors. The open-endedness of the play allows children's imaginations to run free. Several maze designs are included, but kids perpetually invent their own, problem-solving, exploring, and having the time of their lives every step of the way.
