Count Along Register is an interactive play companion that helps teach children early money, counting and math skills, as well as colors and sorting, all in the context of imaginary role play. Little ones take great delight in ringing up various food items pictured on the register screen, each of which Count Along Register identifies aloud by name and color (white milk and red strawberries, among other healthy food choices) interspersed with song snippets, fun phrases, and playful sound effects. For each item displayed on the screen the set includes a corresponding plastic food item with which to enrich the role play experience and bring a tactile dimension to the sorting and counting. These can be placed on the register's toy food scanner, which beeps with each item and keeps track of the cumulative total. When ready to check out, kids simply press the green total button and Count Along Register announces the total due and counts as each plastic coin is dropped through the slot.
