Children are absolutely delighted by this interactive game for the LeapPad Learning Tablet. In it, they help undo a mix-up Tinker Bell causes when she knocks over a vial of pixie dust and jumbles all the fairies' talents and colors. Kids place planes, inclined planes, weights, levers, and other simple machines in just the right locations so that blue pixie dust can move from point A to point B. In doing so, they develop logic, fine motor skills, and an understanding of the physical world while creating maze-like structures that allow the blue pixie dust to find its way to the pixie dust jar. Each time they succeed, they proceed to Zarina's alchemy desk, where they combine ingredients and mix up a batch of new pixie dust that takes them one step closer to restoring the fairies' proper powers. Players earn stars and an array of badges as play progresses to increasingly challenging levels, keeping kids happily, productively engaged.
