Care Bears fans and novices alike were delighted by this first-ever Care Bears mobile app. The ease with which even young children explored its magic made the fun highly accessible and very contagious. Kids created and decorated their own postcards, adding personal messages before emailing them to friends and family or saving to a photo library. After dragging a scissors to cut out the basic card shape, choose either the Create or Select menu option. The Select option lets you choose your favorite Care Bear, while Create provides added control, letting you finger-paint the bear's color, activate its belly badge by tapping little stars onscreen, select a (or draw your own) belly badge, and choose the bear's playful facial expression. Both the Create and Select options include decorating the cards with colorful stickers, stamps, borders and backgrounds, adding Care Bear accessories, and typing (or writing by hand) the card's note. While the app itself is free, unlocking additional creative choices on several of its menus is possible through in-app purchases.
