The Floor Is Lava is great fun for kids of all ages, an exciting, physically active game for the entire family. 25 colored foam tiles are randomly placed around the room, after which a designated player calls out "THE FLOOR IS LAVA!" and everyone rushes to stand on the tile closest to them. From then on, a spinner dictates the action. With each spin, all players must jump to a tile that matches the spinner's color. Any player who cannot jump to a tile of the correct color or who touches the floor is OUT. On each turn, the most recent tile of whoever is last to reach safety is removed from play, increasing the game's difficulty as the number of tiles diminishes. Spicing up the fun is the fact that whenever a player lands on a tile with a "?" on it, he or she must perform the action on the next challenge card in the deck. These include entertaining activities like doing a squat, standing on one leg, or twirling like a ballerina and must be accomplished without touching the floor or the player is OUT. The last remaining player in the game wins! For 2 to 6 players.
