With KEVA Brain Builders, kids convert 2D diagrams into 3D structures, one puzzle card at a time. Each card displays a front, side, and top view of an object. Kids (or adults) then use some or all of the 20 precision-engineered KEVA planks included to construct that object in three dimensions. Because the 2-dimensional views are slices of a whole, it is not uncommon for builders to have no idea what they are making until it is complete. This 'operating in the blind,' with the brain jumping from one view to another as the hands execute assembly promotes both mental and manual dexterity. Given the endless real-world applications, KEVA Brain Builders is a skill-building toy of the highest order. It is also uniquely gratifying, particularly in the ta-da! moments when you realize what you have just built - a sled, a lemonade stand, a swan, a rowboat . . . The puzzle cards are numbered and grouped into three levels so that a player's ability can grow progressively as the level of challenge increases.
