Bathtub fun tends to be a mixed blessing for parents, due in no small part to water that sloshes to the floor when kids use the outer side of the bathtub as a play space. Wet toys, washcloths - anything that can be placed on the edge of the tub will be placed there, causing residual water to run to the floor. Shelfie remedies that by providing a plastic shelf that uses suction cups to adhere to the outer side of the bathtub and has a raised lip that keeps water in. Shelfie provides a wider (and more importantly, intentional) play space for kids to use, making bath time more fun while keeping water off the floor. It's also a great place for children to rest their sippy (or regular) cup and for parents to place shampoo and soap while cleansing their young children. Shelfie's surface is approximately 18 inches long by 7 inches wide, an easy way to change the architecture of the bathtub to a more play friendly zone exactly when it's needed.
