Oh, what a marvelous family game this is! The components are exceptionally playful, the game play deliriously fun, and players have the pleasure of burning off a little steam as they and their teammates make run after run in an attempt to stack and win! It all starts by randomly placing 10 pancakes (2 apiece of 5 different kinds - blueberry, chocolate chip, etc.) along with 2 pats of butter on the griddle board. An Order Card is then flipped displaying 5 pancakes stacked in a specific sequence. On cue, opponents simultaneously scramble to use plastic spatulas to scoop up the correct pancake, transport it across the room, and stack it on their plate. Each speedy traversal requires (and develops) balance, coordination, and the ability to follow a sequence. Playing in teams adds to the fun, requiring players to hand off the spatula to their next teammate in a relay race as the nonstop action continues. Either way, the goal is to be first to stack the pancakes on your plate in the exact sequence shown on the card and top it off with a pat of butter! For 2 to 12 players.
