Movie Buff is a highly social trivia card game in which players flex their memory muscles by naming actors, roles, and quotes common to a particular film. After being dealt 10 cards apiece, players take turns playing a single card per turn, but only if they have the necessary knowledge to do so. As soon as at least one of all four trivia cards has been played in this manner, a Take is considered to have been completed. The next player must then pivot to a new movie by naming a connector (often an actor) found in both films, and the next take is off and running! The ultimate goal is to be the first player to rid his or her hand of all cards. There are lots of other fine wrinkles in this game, including strategy cards that enable players to skip turns, reverse direction of play, jump to a new movie, and so on. Movie Buff is a fast moving, family-friendly game that's loaded with variety, twists and turns, and non-stop fun! For 2 to 16 players.
