Math-a-Round is a smartly crafted game in which children hone their basic math skills. Players take turns picking up number tokens without seeing them first. They must each then place the number on their respective playing board to the right of a previously selected number and insert either a plus or minus sign between the two. In this fashion, a running total is created and altered on every turn, through a combination of chance and choice. As the game progresses, players receive plenty of math practice as they recalculate totals due to the continually expanding strings of numbers and operations. The first player to achieve a total of 10 in this manner earns points for that round. Players then play again until four rounds have been completed, after which the player with the most points wins the game. The eye-catching, cleverly designed boards, with their four concentric circles representing each round of play, add to the fun. Includes several excellent game play variations. For 2 players.
