As collectible action figures go this one is particularly impressive, not just for the explosive light and sound effects each time Katsuki's belt buckle is pressed, but also the figure's sheer physical presence. The 12-inch scale figure emanates a power and ferocity that make it seem larger than life, and the level of nuanced visual detail inherent in every inch is fairly stunning. Each ripple of muscle, every crease in the fabric of Katsuki's outfit is captured in an entirely naturalistic way, so much so that one almost expects the figure to leap into action of its own volition. Aiding in that regard is articulation at the shoulder joints and neck to which even minor positional changes produce a seeming shift in the character's attitude, with ominous, battle-ready, and victorious prominent among them!
